Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is located in Weicheng District, Xianyang City, northwest of Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. It is 25 kilometers away from Xi'an urban area. Xi'an Xianyang International Airport is a 4F civil international airport, which is one of China’s eight major regional hub airports, one of the international regular flight airports and the first 100 major airports in the world. In June 2014, it became the first airport in northwest China and the eighth port in China to implement the 72-hour transit visa-free policy.
